These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.marettpm.com and any related services, communications, purchases, and custom-order workflows offered by Marett Precious Metals ("Marett," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting the site, placing an order, requesting a quote, or starting a custom commission, you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders and product availability

Marett Precious Metals offers precious metal bullion, custom commissions, gemstones, recovered treasures, merchandise, and related products. Many items are handcrafted, limited-run, reclaimed, vintage, or one-of-one, so availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, decline service, or cancel an order when necessary.

2. Pricing, payment, and order acceptance

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Because precious metal markets can move quickly, listing, pricing, or inventory errors may occasionally occur. An order is not considered accepted until payment is authorized and we confirm or begin processing it. If we need to cancel or adjust an order because of pricing, availability, fraud review, technical error, or another legitimate business reason, we will notify you and refund any amount collected that is not otherwise required to be retained under an approved custom order.

3. Custom commissions and made-to-order work

Custom, engraved, personalized, made-to-order, or commissioned pieces require review and approval of the design, scope, weight, finish, timeline, and price before production begins. Deposits or staged payments may be required. Once a custom order is approved and production begins, it is final sale except as required by law or where the delivered item arrives damaged or materially differs from the approved order specifications.

4. Shipping and delivery

U.S. orders under $250 ship for $12.99 per shipment group, with free U.S. shipping on orders over $250. Most orders ship as one shipment group. Orders that include both Marett-shipped products and third-party fulfilled merchandise may show separate shipment groups at checkout because the items ship from different places. International shipping is calculated at checkout where available using the live carrier, fulfillment, or app rates shown for the shipping address. International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, import charges, or similar amounts collected by their country, carrier, or payment/checkout provider.

Shipping methods and delivery windows shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery can be affected by fraud review, carrier delays, customs processing, weather, holidays, inventory timing, or other factors outside our control. Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping details, and any delivery issue, shortage, or damage should be reported promptly with supporting photos.

5. Returns, cancellations, and refunds

Return eligibility varies by product category and is subject to our Return Policy. In-stock precious metal items may be eligible for return subject to inspection and any disclosed market-loss, restocking, payment-processing, shipping, or similar costs where permitted by law. Custom, personalized, engraved, made-to-order, gemstones, recovered treasures, vintage items, merchandise, and other limited-availability items may be final sale. Please review the Return Policy before placing an order.

6. Product descriptions and handcrafted variation

We work to present items accurately through descriptions, weights, measurements, photos, and videos. Because many items are hand-poured, hand-finished, recovered, vintage, or individually engraved, reasonable variations in appearance, patina, texture, finish, pour lines, and edge character may occur and do not by themselves constitute defects.

7. Authentication and documentation

Where offered, authenticity cards, serial numbers, and verification statements describe the item sold by Marett Precious Metals. These materials may not be copied, altered, reassigned, or used to authenticate any other item. We do not guarantee third-party grading outcomes, resale value, or collector-market performance.

8. No investment, tax, or legal advice

Content on this site is provided for general information and merchandising purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes investment, financial, tax, legal, or appraisal advice. You are responsible for your own purchasing decisions and for obtaining independent professional advice when appropriate.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or disruptive purpose. You may not attempt to interfere with site operations, access nonpublic areas, reverse engineer the services, or use automated tools to scrape or misuse content or store operations without our written permission.

10. Intellectual property

All site content, branding, product names, photos, videos, graphics, text, and design elements are owned by Marett Precious Metals or its licensors and may not be used, copied, or distributed without permission.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and services are provided "as is" and "as available." Marett Precious Metals does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marett Precious Metals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, opportunity, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the site or purchase of products. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a product or order will not exceed the amount actually paid for that product or order.
